By using a special technique developed for various types of detectors, IR860 offers full screen radiometric capability that allows temperature read out of any spot on the infrared image in both live and frozen modes. A full screen movable cursor, which is the cross point of one vertically movable line and one horizontally movable line, is used for this temperature readout.

Since IR860 does not require any cooler or cooling device which typically requires 5-8 minutes for each startup, IR860 can be in operational in only few seconds after the power is turned on. Additionally, IR860 operates at live video frame rate of 30Hz making it an excellent tool for real time temperature scan of a large area and facility. Image storage and play back are all easy tasks by pushing their corresponding buttons.

Image temperature data can be instantly analyzed on the camera by moving the cursor over the image with the user interface buttons. A high temperature alarm can be set to notify you of irregular temperatures. Emissivity can be easily adjusted to ensure accurate temperature readings. Images can be stored on the built-in PCMCIA memory card. It does data transfer with on board PC card or direct link to computer.
