Cantronic's thermal imaging cameras, used worldwide for SARS detection in airports and other public venues, have been featured on the Discovery Channel, CTV, CBC, Fox News, Reuters News and in the Vancouver Sun, and the Toronto Star. The Company was also awarded a T-Net Award, which recognizes British Columbia's top 100 technology companies.

The company's founder, James Zhan, was the 2003 recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for his significant contributions in Canada.
